About Topiry

Topiry started as a side project between a handful of testers who were tired of “top 10” lists that were clearly written without anyone ever installing the product. We wanted a place where game patches, VPN speed claims, and software updates got checked against a stopwatch and a packet sniffer instead of a marketing deck.

Today Topiry publishes hands-on reviews and daily news across four beats: game testing and gaming news, VPN testing and VPN industry news, software testing and software news, and AI news and AI tool reviews. Every review that carries a rating on Topiry has gone through our internal test rig — real installs, real benchmarks, real logs.

What We Actually Do

• Run new game builds through performance and stability checks across a range of hardware tiers
• Test VPN providers for real-world throughput, leak protection, and logging claims
• Install and stress-test software (not just skim the changelog) before writing about it
• Track AI model and tool releases and run our own prompts against their claims
